Over the past 10 years, Ackermans has donated over R125 million rand through various charitable organisations throughout South Africa.

ECD centres in 7 out of 9 provinces

We support 540 ECD centres, benefiting over 73,000 individuals across seven provinces with The Unlimited Child and Do More Foundation. We also fund the distribution of Do More Instant Breakfast Porridge to vulnerable centres within the Ackermans Ububele Schools network.

We’ve partnered with Food & Trees for Africa (FTFA) since 2016 in support of their Trees for All programme across South Africa. This programme educates people, offsets carbon emissions and creates temporary jobs for those who are unemployed

The team from HewLin Compassion NPO was at Ackermans, collaborating with Ackermans employees to prepare hot meals and vegetable packs for those in need. This initiative was designed to ensure rapid support for individuals in dire situations throughout 2025.
