1. Promoter
1.1. The promoter of this competition is Vodacom (Pty) Ltd ("Vodacom"), conducted with Ackermans and/or its agencies (“Organizer”). All persons entering the Promotion ("the Participants") agree that by entering the Promotion they are bound by the Promotion rules as set out in these terms and conditions (“the Terms and Conditions”).
2. Competition Period
2.1 The competition runs from 00h00 on 04 June to 23h59 on 01 July 2026 (“Competition Period”). Vodacom & Ackermans reserves the right to amend the dates in accordance with applicable law.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The competition is open to natural persons who are South African residents, aged 18 years or older, with a valid South African ID or valid residence permit.
3.2 Participants must be Vodacom prepaid customers with RICA‑registered SIM cards.
3.3 Employees, directors, agents of Vodacom and Ackermans, their advertising agencies, suppliers, and their immediate family members are excluded from participation.
3.4 Entries from business, corporate or SME accounts are not eligible.
3.5 The Organizer and/or Vodacom reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all Participants and to request such documentation as may be reasonably required. Failure to provide such information within the stipulated time may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Reward.
4. How to Enter
4.1 To qualify for entry, Participants must during the Competition Period complete all the following steps in-store at any Ackermans / Ackermans Connect in the Republic of South Africa store:

Purchase any Vodacom device;

Recharge with Vodacom R49 LTE data bundle;

Activate any Vodacom device on the Vodacom network; and
-
Scan a valid +More Rewards card at checkout.
4.2 Completion of all the above steps constitutes one (1) automatic entry into the competition.
4.3 Qualifying Participants, are issued with a once off unique PIN via SMS and weblink to a Vodacom /Ackermans redemption platform (“Website”)
4.4 No additional entry fees apply and standard Vodacom recharge costs apply.
5. Reward Redemption
5.1 To redeem the Reward, qualifying Participants will be directed to the Website where the qualifying Participant is to enter their unique PIN received via SMS. The SMS will be issued to the MSISDN (cellphone number) assigned to qualifying Participants +More Rewards card.
5.2 The Website is the only place where qualifying Participants can redeem their Reward.
5.3 Qualifying Participants must redeem the Reward within thirty (30) calendar days of the unique PIN being issued. If a qualifying Participant fails to redeem their Reward within the required validity period, they will forfeit their Reward.
5.4 The Organizer and/or Vodacom shall not be responsible for any technical failures, including but not limited to network, system, or platform failures, which may affect entry into the Promotion.
6. Rewards
6.1 Participants stand a chance to win one (1) of two hundred (200) Rewards. The coupon entitles the qualifying Participants to a takealot.com coupon (ringfenced for the purchase of an Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs soccer jersey):

Kaizer Chiefs Soccer Jerseys (via takealot.com)
6.2 The number of Rewards available and approximate retail values (inclusive of VAT) will be determined by Vodacom and Ackermans.
6.3 Rewards are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
6.4 Vodacom reserves the right to substitute a Reward with another of equal or greater value, should circumstances require.
7. Winner Selection & Notification
7.1 Qualifying Participants will be selected by random audited draw and will be issued with their qualifying unique PIN to redeem their Reward, post the Competition Period closure date. Qualifying Participants will be contacted by Vodacom or the Organizer.
8. Reward Fulfillment
8.1 Reward fulfilment will be managed by the Organizer on behalf of Vodacom.
9. takealot.com Coupon Terms & Conditions
The coupon entitles the qualifying Participants to a takealot.com coupon (ringfenced for the purchase of an Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs soccer jersey) up to the maximum value of R1,300.00 (one thousand three hundred rand), with the following conditions:

The coupon is valid for 1 (one) month from date of issue.

Each coupon can only be used once.

Only one coupon can be used per order.

The coupon is ringfenced for the purchase of an Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs soccer jersey only.

It is the responsibility of the Participant to choose their correct jersey size.
Neither the Organizer nor Vodacom shall be held liable if the specified jersey or the requested size is unavailable.

Only one coupon may be used on the takealot.com website or app per transaction.

A coupon must be used at check-out – it cannot be used later on existing orders.

The coupon is limited to a maximum value of R1300.00. Any amount exceeding this value (including delivery fees or price differences) will be for the Participant’s own account.

The value of the coupon will be set off against the value of your shopping basket and the balance remaining, if any, will be payable by the Participant.

If the selected jersey is priced below the coupon value, any unused balance will be forfeited and may not be redeemed for cash, credit, or any other benefit.

Redemption of the coupon is subject to availability of eligible jerseys on takealot.com at the time of use. No backorders, reservations, or substitutions will be facilitated by the Organizer or Vodacom.

The Organizer and Vodacom make no warranties or representations regarding the quality, fit, condition, or performance of the jersey purchased using the coupon.

If a Participant orders an incorrect jersey or size, the return must be arranged directly with takealot.com. Should takealot.com be unable to facilitate an exchange, neither the Organizer nor Vodacom shall be liable, and no cash or alternative product will be provided.

All delivery, fulfilment, and after-sales service (including returns, refunds, or exchanges) are the sole responsibility of takealot.com and subject to their terms and conditions.

Coupons cannot be used to buy a gift coupon or exchanged for any other coupons and cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash or credit or transferred. Takealot.com is not responsible for any harm due to the loss, unauthorized use, or distribution of a coupon.

The coupon may not be sold, auctioned, or otherwise transferred for value. Any such use may result in the coupon being cancelled.

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or invalidate any coupon issued in error or where fraud, abuse, or misuse is suspected.

If for any reason a coupon does not reflect in the final amount due from you at check-out, please get in touch with the support team via the help page on the takealot.com website here, to confirm if the coupon is still valid. If takealot.com confirms that the coupon is still valid and you have already placed your order, you can choose whether to cancel the order and place it again with the coupon, or you can use the coupon on your next order within the limitations of the specific coupon’s terms and conditions.

In the event of technical failure, system error, or any unforeseen circumstances affecting coupon issuance or redemption, the Organizer reserves the right to substitute the reward with an alternative of equal or similar value at its sole discretion.

10. Personal Information
10.1 Personal information will be processed solely for the purposes of this Promotion and in accordance with applicable data protection laws and in accordance with Vodacom’s Privacy Policy and the Pepkor Group of Companies’ External Privacy Statement.
11. General
11.1 The promoter’s decision is final. The competition is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
11.2 The Organizer and/or Vodacom reserve the right to disqualify any Participant suspected of fraud, manipulation, abuse of the Promotion, or acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
11.3 To the extent permitted by law, Vodacom and the Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of any Reward.
