Paw Patrol Family Holiday Competition 2025

The promoter of the competition is Ackermans, a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”). 

The name of the competition is the “Paw Patrol Family Holiday Competition 2025” (“the Competition”). 

The Competition will run from 2 October 2025 to 29 October 2025 (both days included) (“the Competition Period”). The winner will be announced on or before 31 October 2025. 

By entering the Competition and/or accepting any prize, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

The prize consists of an all-expenses-paid family holiday to the Land of Legends Theme Park in Antalya, Turkey, for one winning family consisting of 2 adults and 2 children. 

The Competition is open to participants within the Republic of South Africa who are citizens (in possession of a valid SA ID book or card) or permanent residents (with valid residency permit). Winners must be in possession of valid passports at the time of their travel. Passports are to be acquired at their own costs. The Competition does not include cross-border countries. 

The Competition is not open to: 

Directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of the Promoter and its affiliated divisions, subsidiaries or partners. 

Immediate family members or household members of the persons specified above. 

To enter the Competition, participants must: 

Purchase any character item from any Ackermans store during the Competition Period. 

Dial the USSD code found on the till slip and follow the entry prompts. 

Retain their original till slip as proof of purchase. 

Customers who purchase Paw Patrol merchandise will receive a bonus entry into the draw. This will be applied when entries are validated via the purchase data linked to the USSD entry. 

Participants may enter the Competition multiple times, provided each entry is submitted with a different valid till slip. 

The USSD system may collect participant details including but not limited to mobile number, ID number and full name. Participants are to retain their till slip as proof of purchase 

The Promoter will contact the winner directly using the contact details provided via the USSD entry. The winner will be required to provide proof of purchase before the prize is confirmed. 

If the winner cannot provide proof of purchase, or is uncontactable within 48 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of announcement. The travel dates will be finalised in consultation with the prize fulfilment partner. 

Passport and visa requirements apply. The winner and their family must meet all travel conditions, including valid passports and visas for travelling. These will be confirmed at the time of prize confirmation. 

If the selected winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize, the Promoter may award the prize to the next eligible entrant at its sole discretion. 

The Promoter and their delivery agent do not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for the purpose of using, applying or enjoying the prize won in this campaign. 

Winners give the Promoter, and its authorised agents consent to use their names and images for publicity purposes, unless refused. 

The Promoter reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the campaign and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against the Promoter and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against the Promoter. 

Your privacy is very important to the Promoter and the Pepkor group of companies, and it will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that any information, including personal information, provided by you, or which is collected from you, is stored in a secure manner. You agree to provide Pepkor with accurate and current information and to maintain and update such information when necessary. The information collected by Pepkor may be used to send you information about products, services, and special offers of the various companies in the Pepkor group that may be of interest or value to you. The information may also be processed by the Promoter and other companies in the Pepkor group, any of their operators, agents and sub-contractors (who may be outside South Africa) on the condition that they will keep such information confidential. 

You acknowledge that any information supplied to the Promoter and the Pepkor group of companies in terms of these Terms and Conditions is provided voluntarily. 

By submitting any information to the Promoter and the Pepkor group of companies in any form you further acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing of such information by the Promoter and the Pepkor group of companies under any applicable law in the manner contemplated above, which consent shall, in the absence of any written objection received from you, be indefinite and/or for the period otherwise required in terms of any applicable law. 

Unless you have consented, the Promoter and the Pepkor group of companies will not sell, exchange, transfer, rent or otherwise make available any personal information about you (such as name, address, email address, telephone or fax number) to other parties and you indemnify the Promoter and the Pepkor group of companies from any unintentional disclosures of such information to unauthorised persons. 

Should you believe that the Promoter and the Pepkor group of companies have used your personal information contrary to applicable law, you shall first resolve any concerns with the Promoter and the Pepkor group of companies. If you are not satisfied with such a process, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. 

You can choose to be excluded from direct marketing by notifying the Promoter in writing or by registering a block on any registry which the Promoter is bound by law to recognise. The Promoter will not charge you a fee to update this request on its systems. The Promoter will give effect to any changes requested by you as soon as reasonably possible.
