“Shop on your Ackermans Account and Stand to Win a Summer Wardrobe” Competition Terms and Conditions
Stand a chance to win big this summer! When you shop on your Ackermans account between 1 August and 30 September 2025, you could be one of ten lucky winners to receive a R20 000 wardrobe voucher (or local currency equivalent for Namibia and Botswana).
This exciting competition is brought to you by Ackermans and Tenacity Financial Services, and is open to customers in South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana.
Before you enter, please take a moment to read through the full terms and conditions below to ensure you qualify and understand how the competition works.

The promoters of the Competition are Ackermans and Tenacity Financial Services, divisions of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd, Ackermans Namibia (Pty) Ltd and Ackermans Botswana (Pty) Ltd (collectively referred to as “the Promoters”), who will be jointly and individually responsible for the Competition.

The name of the Competition is “Shop on your Ackermans Account and Stand to Win a Summer Wardrobe” (“the Competition").

The Competition will run from 1 August 2025 to 30 September 2025 (both days included) ("the Competition Period").

The participating countries are South Africa, Namibia and Botswana (“Participating Countries”).

To be eligible to be entered into the Competition, a person must be an existing Ackermans account holder in a Participating Country or become an Ackermans account holder by opening an Ackermans account in any of the Participating Countries during the Competition Period.
6.1 Customers in Namibia and Botswana who meet the criteria in clause 5 above and who makes a purchase of any value at any Ackermans store on their Ackermans account during the Competition Period will automatically be entered into the Competition.
6.2 Customers in South Africa who meet the criteria in clause 5 above and who do the following during the Competition Period will be entered into the Competition:
6.2.1 Make a purchase of any value at any Ackermans store on their Ackermans account during the Competition Period; and
6.2.2 Enter the competition via the official USSD channel (*130*602#), using their ID number.
(collectively referred to as ‘Participants’).

Entry is free and Participants may enter multiple times. Participants may only win one prize in this Competition irrespective of the number of entries.

Participants stand a chance to be one (1) of ten (10) winners who will each receive a voucher to the value of R20 000, converted into the respective currency of the Participating Country as per the exchange rate at midnight on the day prior to the date on which the Winner is notified that they have won.

Ten (10) winners will be randomly selected via a computer operated draw on 1 October 2025.

By accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Promoters reserves the right to exclude a Participant from this Competition or to withhold payment of a prize to a winner should the Promoters become aware that a Participant is:
11.1 a director, member, business partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Pepkor group of companies, its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition;
11.2 a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified above.

All prizes in this competition are non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.

Winners will be notified that they have won by latest 15 October 2025.

Any Winner, who is a South African Customer, shall receive their digital voucher together with their notification SMS.

Any Winner who is a Namibian or Botswana Customer shall receive their notification SMS and may collect their voucher from an Ackermans store nearest to them.

Winners must use their vouchers within a period of 3 (three) months from 15 October 2025.

The Promoters and their delivery agent do not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for the purpose of using, applying or enjoying the prize won in this Competition.

The Promoters reserves the right to refuse the payment of a prize to any winner, regardless of the successful entry into the Competition, who it decides (in its sole discretion) has violated the terms and conditions of this Competition, or who has participated herein using suspected fraudulent means or dishonest information.

The Promoters reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against the Promoters and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against the Promoters.
