We love: fashion denim

What’s not to love about denim? It’s a durable style classic that looks great on all body types. With winter fast approaching, it’s time to update the hardest-working item in your wardrobe – and Ackermans has all the latest shapes, trims and styles.

Denim cuts and styles

The denim trends stealing the spotlight are definitely mom and girlfriend jeans. So, what’s the difference between them? Mom jeans have a higher waist, with a relaxed fit around the zipper area while girlfriend jeans are tighter, with a tapered fit around the hips. Whatever your body shape, one of these styles will flatter you.
Regular to high-rise jeans are on our must-have list for their secure coverage, especially if you’re a mom of young kids. We all know what it’s like to be constantly bending down and running after them!
The bootleg looks super-chic with a blouse and ankle boots. And don’t forget the trusted jegging and tube jegging. They’re effortless and versatile whether you’re going for a casual work-from-home look or pairing them with a crisp white shirt and blazer for the office. Either way, you’ll be getting plenty of mileage out of this wardrobe staple.

Trims

We all love a classic denim, but trims add a special touch. Choose between regular zip-up jeans, single or double-button denims. Have a laid-back moment with loose-fitting ripped and distressed jeans. Just add a T-shirt and sneakers and you’re ready to go. You’re spoilt for choice, and there’s always something to suit you.

Denim washes

Need a denim that adds a touch of elegance? Dark washes in black and grey can create a smarter feel for your outfit. Or press ‘refresh’ with a crisp pair of white denims to brighten a winter’s day. ’90s-style light-wash denims are making a comeback – and they’re so easy to style with a polo-neck and platform sneakers. For an edgier winter look, pair acid-wash jeans with earth-toned knits.
