With family, work, friends and everything in between, finding time to workout can feel near impossible. However where there is a will, there is a way. We share our tips on how to get in shape without taking a minute out of your busy schedule.

At work

Do you walk from your taxi or train to work every morning? Consider power walkingto increase your heart rate and burn more calories.

Using the stairs instead of the lift contributes immensely to your fitness. Health experts recommend 10 000 steps a day which is 8km per day!

Get more out of your toilet breaks by doing some wall stretches when you are in the queue. If you sit at your desk all day, make sure to sit with a straight posture. A bad posture can have a negative effect on your overall health.

At home

If you have a baby at home, put baby on your back whilst you go about your business just like your mama did!
Remember the 80/20 rule. 80% nutrition and 20% fitness. Do not fall into bad eating habits that defeat all your hard work.

Put a timer on when you clean the house. This is a great tip to for time management and burning calories. Set it for between 20-40 minutes and make sure you just clean during this time. You will get the work done effeciently, do more than you planned and burn calories.
