Tips for healthy summer skin

Follow these easy steps for a summer glow, without breaking a sweat.

Cleanse

The first step to glowing skin for summer is to know how to properly clean your face. Summer is the time when dirt, oils and sunscreen tend to clog our pores, so cleansing is necessary every day.
Use foaming cleansers instead of creamy ones. These help lift the dirt from the face and leave your skin clean and breathable.

Exfoliate at least once a week

Dead cells sit on the surface of your skin making it look dull and dry. Exfoliating will remove those dead cells leaving room for more radiant, healthier summer skin to shine through.

Moisturise your skin

In the summer it is tempting to ease up on moisturising because your skin may not feel as dry, but good moisturisers work over time, promoting healthy skin with consistent use.

Make friends with water

High temperatures and a lot of time outdoors lead to dehydration.
Try to drink eight glasses of water every day. This will help maintain the critical moisture balance of your body and skin, and also help flush out toxins from your system.
