Sunburn soother – Aloe vera is widely used as an after-sun treatment because it is soothing and reduces inflammation. Apply it directly to the sunburned area.

Insect repellent – Its soothing qualities make it the perfect itch reliever. Plus, bugs hate the smell. Fight against mosquito bites this summer by rubbing a little aloe vera gel all over your body.

Stretch mark ointment – This multi-purpose gel is great for stretch marks. Apply on its own or mix it with your stretch mark cream.

Ingredients

  •  1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  •  1 tablespoon coconut oil
  •  1 tablespoon shea butter


Recipe

  1. Melt the shea butter in a bowl over a cup of hot water (like a mini double-boiler). Stir the aloe vera gel and coconut oil into the softened butter.
  2. Mix everything together with a spoon or hand mixer.
  3. Apply the mixture to your hair.
